7th Annual Siltcoos Lake Stringer Tournament hosted by Lake's Edge RV Park

The 7th Annual Siltcoos Lake Stringer Tournament was held May 27th and 28th, 2006.
With 21 participants and a prizes totaling $525, it was one short of our biggest turnout.
Rain again both days dampened the spirits of some, but others, including "Rookie" Tom
Waterworth, stuck with it, fishing hard and showing awesome tenacity to take 3rd Place!
Chuck Gunter narrowly escaped with 1st Place by one ounce over 2nd Place. For a second
year, Shawn Irish is held from taking home the money for Big Fish! However, his
tournament record total weight of 15#10oz stands for at least one more year.

A new record was set for the tournament's youngest member, with Trevor Eastlick
of Vernonia, Oregon, age 6, joining us this year. Trevor fished hard and actually
"out caught" guide Chris Chase by one ounce!

Note that one ounce separated 1st and 2nd Place.
Less than one pound separated 4th, 5th and 6th Place.
