As one of New Horizons’ most flexible training options, computer-based training (CBT) allows you the convenience of reviewing desktop applications or technical curriculum via CD-ROM — anytime, anywhere, and at your own pace.

Both our technical training CDs and our desktop applications CDs alike include pre-assessment testing to streamline learning. In addition, both our Technical and Applications CDs have a post-test feature that allows you to measure your training results upon course completion.

3 — Web-Based Training... a new way to learn.

Web-based training (WBT) is revolutionizing computer training today.

Web-based training offers all of the advantages of computer-based training — the convenience of learning anytime, any place, and at any pace — plus the bonus of being even more accessible since it is offered via the internet. Once you register for your WBT course, you’re ready to begin learning on-line.

WBT incorporates a major advantage of instructor-led training by providing you with tutorial support. You’ll be assigned a highly knowledgeable mentor who will help answer your questions. In addition, you can participate in discussions with your WBT classmates in a live chat room.
